What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a friendly, fun-loving character who will fit in with our close team. We pride ourselves on providing a home from home setting for the children and achieve this by working closely as a team and with all our families.

We are looking for a driven and ambitious candidate to work as part of our team, taking on the role of 1:1 support for a child with SEND, inputting in planning activities, monitoring progress and planning for their next steps. They will be expected to promote, encourage and cascade good practice throughout the setting and to be a role model and mentor less experience team members

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Having fun, joining in and getting messy with the children!
  • Supporting the safety and well-being needs of individual children on a 1:1 basis
  • Supporting the setting to provide the best curriculum we can, in line with the EYFS.
  • Planning, observations, assessments and recording of children’s development.
  • Ensure parents/carers are kept fully informed and included in everything we do.
  • Establish warm, caring relationships with the children and their families.
  • Supporting children to foster enthusiasm and a love for learning.
  • Actively support the development of children’s language and communication skills by reading, singing and non-stop talking!
  • Be dedicated to improve both yourself and the setting.
